I’m happy to announce that I will become an assistant professor in Computer Science at the University of Notre Dame. After I complete my postdoc position in 2021-22, I will join the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of IT, Analytics, and Operations (Courtesy). I will continue my research in the intersections of data science, computational social science, and HCI.
Our paper “Do I know you? The effects of social capital on self-assembled groups” has been accepted for presentation at the virtual 81st Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management taking place 29 July – 4 August 2021.
This fall 2021, I will become a postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Science of Science and Innovation (CSSI) at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. I will be working on teams with Prof. Dashun Wang.
Our paper “Do I know you? The effects of social capital on self-assembled groups” has been selected for the virtual 71st Annual ICA Conference, Engaging the Essential Work of Care: Communication, Connectedness, and Social Justice, to be held on 27-31 May 2021.
I will be joining the Snap Inc. Research team this fall 2020. My mentor will be Maarten Bos, Lead Research Scientist.
